Shoes, shoes, shoes
For anyone who has ever watched Sex & The City, we all know of Carrie Bradshaw's love for shoes. Like in the picture above. I actually remember this episode. Whenever I watch the show whether on DVD or reruns on TV, I always wonder how they could walk around in their shoes because they looked so uncomfortable!!
Well, now, let me just say here (and I think I have said it before)....I HATE SHOPPING FOR SHOES!! Actually, I'm not sure what I hate more...shoes or pants. I broke my foot in 9th grade and I think ever since then, I have had problems, ha! I used to wear a 9.5 in sneakers. Now, to be comfortable, a 10 is the perfect fit. I feel like I am big foot!
I am finding I need comfortable shoes to be in all day at school. So when I went to Kohls a few weeks ago and got a pair of Sonoma shoes, I bought them in a 9.5 since when I tried on the size 10, it was about to go flying off my foot! The 9.5's were a little tight but now, they are sooooooo stretched out. Especially my right foot!! :( I am wondering if I need to go down to a size 9 instead if they are going to stretch out.
So, what size do you all wear in flats? The size as your sneakers? A half size-size smaller than your sneakers? I have no idea what size to buy!! It's frustrating me! I need something to put in the shoes to keep it from coming off on my heel. I just dont get why they are stretching so much.
Where do you all get your flats? Do you find that you need to go a size smaller? Any advice/help is GREATLY appreciated.

{Life's like a bowl full of cherries!}
Life is like a bowl full of cherries. Or, like Forrest Gump said, "Life's like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." Isn't that the truth?!
The past week was just super hectic. I worked Mon/Wed/all day Fri/Sat night. Thursday was just a day of annoyance overall but it has since passed. For some reason, I was having issues sleeping (probably stressed out about the CST). I just wanted Saturday to be over with! I woke up at the bright hour of 5:45am to drink my coffee/eat/review any last minute things for the CST. If you know me well, I am by no means a morning person. I am just cranky because I hate getting up. So to drive 40 minutes to take a test was not fun. The listening section was pretty easy, grammar was okay, writing was a complete joke because it was so easy and then there's the speaking. The situations are chosen at random, however I had written out all of them and practiced them. Right before I went in, the tape recorder broke on the girl before me! OMG talk about making me more nervous!! When it was my turn to go in, in I went and shook like a leaf, ha! The situation I had was about wanting to buy a new house and I think I did okay. I will have no idea if I passed the test until they send us our scores on December 16th. I'm praying I passed because then it would mean I will have my teaching license issued in February. Otherwise, I have to retake it and I really don't want to waste another $79. So let's think good thoughts!
Having a Sunday off all day is a rare occasion. I will either work the morning shift (12-5) or the evening one (5-9). I worked last Sunday morning but had had the previous Sundays off either because I requested them off or it was just the luck of how my schedule was made for that week! So, I was off again this Sunday and I went out to the outlets with my mom. She has a bunch of giftcards and wanted me to come along to help her pick out some clothes. She ended up getting a bunch of stuff at Coldwater Creek and then we went looking for boots for me. That was really all I wanted! Every where I went, whenever I saw a pair of boots, I tried them on. But my issue was they wouldn't really want to zip because of my calves being huge. I ended up finding a pair at Easy Spirit at the outlets and those were my birthday gift from my mom. :) Happy girl right here! Now I just need to go buy myself some new pants to wear with them (and because all my other ones are too big!)
I could seriously go to bed and not wake up til like 9pm tomorrow, ha! No, not really, I just love to sleep. I have so much to do and yet, I want to sleep. Hopefully I am not coming down with some sort of sickness.
Friday is the big day. I turn the big 2-5! Ha! It's not as important as my friend Sarah turning 21 (today was her birthday! and we're celebrating friday) but still. I am tickled to see what my boyfriend is giving me. He has been torturing me for months about it so it better live up to the torture! And the night before, Shannon, Olivia and I will be going to the midnight showing of Breaking Dawn!! So excited for this week's festivities!
I am also in love with this scent, Be Enchanted, from Bath & Body works. When I was at the outlets, I got three of their minis to go and a future scent in a lotion for $10 all together :) I bought Be Enchanted in a lotion and spray and love it's scent!

And just for fun, because there is no other way I'd procrastinate, some of my new pinterest finds:

Ipod mishap!
I am SERIOUSLY addicted to playing words with friends on my ipod touch. Like it's bad. I have multiple games going with the same people (my aunt & I have three games going!).
So naturally, I was playing it tonight when I got out of work early as I was eating a bowl of soup. Suddenly, it slipped into the bowl of soup. I SCREAMED! I mean, I pretty much made this face:

So I ran and got my towel and dried off the screen, the holes where the charger & headphones go in, the headphone buttons on the side and the "hold" button at the top. I also sucked any of the soup out of any holes and cleaned the screen with the cleaner I use for my macbook pro. I still finished a few games of Words with Friends. But it is currently sitting in a bowl of rice on my desk, drying it out. Hopefully it'll work! I would be pissed if it ended up being fried! So keep your fingers crossed for me!

Hurricane Irene
So there was that loveeelllly disaster that hit Alabama back in what, April/May time? I honestly can't remember if it was a Hurricane or a Tornado but it was NOT pretty. Towns, homes, schools were destroyed. People were injured and died. Reminiscent of Hurricane Katrina back in 2005.
Well, there has been talk about "Hurricane Irene." All week I have been thinking Yeah right....this is going to be a total joke! They'll make a big deal and then nothing will happen.
Well, crap I was WRONG. I was in complete la-la land up until yesterday. Until I watched the news while sitting at the GoodYear tire place getting my car looked at. It was then that I got FREAKED out. The news people are of course doing their job and informing everyone to get the necessities and prepare themselves for the storm. And by preparing, tying your furniture down, evacuating if you live on the water, board up windows (which my mother is FREAKING out about because we have a LOT of windows in our kitchen & family toom), etc.
We had CNN on pretty much ALL morning/early afternoon at work. Finally we had to change it because everyone was FREAKING out (aka all the employees). I live on an island....aka LONG ISLAND in New York. NYC has a mandatory evacuation...the first time in the HISTORY of the city. My friend lives there. She is not affected (she was the first person that came to mind). THANK GOD.
However, my sister-in-law Laurie went out to the Dominican Republic with her friends (this trip was planned before Hurricane Irene decided to dump on our lives.) She is now regretting taking the trip because it is killing her to be away from her three babies and her husband. My siblings, mother, and I would NEVER in a million years not check in on them during something like this. I have been updating her via texts because she has asked me to and will check in on them for her.
THIS IS SCARY. Like I think I have been through "mini" ones but not as bad as they are making it out to be (how ironic that I am watching Where the Heart is as I write this and they are having a tornado). I just went onto the Town of Islip's website and it has a light by village/hamlet of all the address that have a mandatory evacuation. Thankfully my house is not one of them although I am right off one of the main high ways so I'm sure this won't be pretty.
The brunt of the storm is suppose to hit between 8am-noon on Sunday. Will it die down after that? I surely hope so! Or maybe it won't be as bad as they think and it'll be SUPER weak when it hits. Will it start tomorrow night while I am at work? I am making a BEE-LINE for my car and getting out of there. I hope it doesnt start til after midnight. Or if it starts while I'm there that they send us home. Usually we have to wait for a call from the regional manager but I'm sure in a situation like this, it would happen.
The more I read about this (and even write), the more freaked out I am getting. So I am going to stop now and pray for the best. I will be charging my iTouch & iPod nanos to play, get some crossword puzzle books, charge my kindle, etc. And plan on sleeping a lot (if I can block out any noise).
I pray we will all be safe. Not just in Long Island but EVERYWHERE.
I pray my SIL can at least enjoy her vacation a little while she worries.
I pray I don't die or anyone close to me dies.
I hope everyone has a fun hurricane party.
And a random thought, just how many babies do y'all think will be created this weekend/upcoming week with no power?! Ha ha!
Hurricane Irene, BRING IT ON. Long Island is ready for ya!

{moves like jagger}
Let's be real....this song has been stuck in my head the past few days. Tonight I was humming it at work. I was humming it in the shower. I was humming it as I heated up my dinner when I got home from work at 10pm tonight. For realz...."Moves Like Jagger" by Maroon 5 with Christina Aguilera is my new jam. Get it on your iPods, stat. You need to listen to it. It's just so darn catchy.
Last night was fun...I went to my friend Olivia's mother's 50th birthday party. I love her parents! They are seriously some of the nicest and genuine people I have ever met. Her parents make you feel so welcome in their home and her dad loves to throw a good party. I mean, her graduation party was catered and we were being served drinks in the pool. This time, the caterer had watermelon shots (SOOOOO GOOD) and a full bar. I had myself a little fun. Originally I stopped drinking at like 11:30 so I could drink water and drive home in a few hours. Then, my friend Shannon and I ended up going in the pool with two of our friend's brother's friends.....til almost 5am!! I think I got home and it was 5:15-5:30. HOLY CRAP. I was doing a happy dance I did not have to be at work til 5. It was a lot of fun though.
Work was incredibly slow tonight. I mean, I have been at my job for almost a year now (wow, really?!) and most Saturday nights we're on a wait. Never went on a wait. It just got to the point at 7:30 were all the servers were like "Really? This is what this shift is like?" I am just thankful I do not have to go to work tomorrow. I normally work Sundays and the occasional random Sunday off is spectacular! I do have to work Mon/Wed/Fri/Sat nights and Sun morning in this upcoming week...but thats okay because two days later, I am off to DISNEY WORLD!!! :) I just realized when am I going to find time to pack? I also informed my mother to not make fun of the amount of clothes I bring...it's going to be SUPER hot in Florida...we're going in August...yeah. Awesome.
Also, I have this strange desire lately for one of my friends to get married...mainly because I either want to be in the wedding...or go to it! So odd. So many people I went to high school with are now engaged. A good friend from college (she was a senior & friends with the RA in my suite my freshman year) just got married yesterday. I just love weddings. PEOPLE - get married so I can attend/be in it.
And speaking of weddings, have you ever thought of who would be in yours? I am almost pretty set on who I would want to be in my wedding. The MOH (maid of honor, duh) would be a REALLY hard decision to make...so essentially it's April (BFF from home) and Steph (BFF from college). Joining them along in my imaginary wedding party line up are Shannon, Heather, Olivia, Amanda, my nieces as the flower girls (or at least the youngest one...the older one will probably be a junior bridesmaid by the time I get hitched! HAHA) and nephew as the ring bearer. Why do I know this? I don't know really. I am just fascinated with weddings. Hence, why you will usually find me watching "Say Yes to the Dress" "Four Weddings" "Bridezillas" or anything wedding related. My friends all think I'll be a bridezilla when I have my wedding.....oh on the contraire, I think not!
Also, people are just dumb. I do not understand who puts a dog in a bag and takes them out to a restaurant. Now, I am all for dogs. Love them. Want another. And hey, if you have a small dog you can put in a carrier or something, more power to ya! I just dont get why you would wanna bring it to a restaurant. I saw this couple tonight walk from across the street to the side where my job is at the mall. In the bag I saw a furry white creature...aka their dog. Next thing I know, the man comes into the restaurant from the patio and goes "My wife and I are two outside. We need a table cleaned." Well this loveeeeelyyyyy people decided to sit themselves on our patio. Hello, I'd be more than happy to put you out there...if you are a NORMAL human who comes inside and asks. And why on Earth would you sit down at a DIRTY table? I know they have a dog out there and you are not allowed to bring a dog into our restaurant unless it is a service animal. We've had this happen a couple of times. I send my manager out there because I know I'm right. And off they went to go somewhere else. I honestly don't get it. I see people bring their small animals to the mall all the time. What is up with that?
Also, I sat through Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2 on Thursday. For the second time. Why? Because my boyfriend wanted to see it. And it was in Imax3d. His end thoughts? "It was all right." It was awesome...and makes me want to actually read the books now. I tried to read the first one way back when but couldn't get into it. Now I need to read them all.
Jersey Shore season 4 premieres on Thursday. The one where they went to Italy. So MTV is playing reruns of all other episodes all weekend. I am addicted like its not funny. Snooki is such a moron but it's really funny to watch. Who remembers the beach arrest incident? Tune in for a laugh if necessary.
This was so random. And so long. I want to add a pretty picture to my header. Do I have ANY idea on how to do that? Nope. NONE. Clues/tips/hints? They'd be GREATLY appreciated!
Happy Sunday!

la la la la la
Happy Tuesday, y'all! It is finally not 100+ degrees out. Seriously, that was SUPER gross last week. Now, I am all for summer and the beach, cute clothes and warm weather over freezing my butt off in the winter. But when you wake up and its 100 degrees at 9am, NOT COOL. After dropping my brother off at work on Friday, I went and got my nails done because I needed a manicure. PS - love the color of them {strawberry margaritas by OPI..a nice pink color!}. When I got in the car after having left my windows cracked open a bit, the thing in my car that has the temperature said it was 112 degrees! I know it was probably from sitting in the sun but still. NO ONE sat outside Friday night or Saturday at work. Awesome.
My dog had her surgery on Friday and the poor puppy kept whimpering the entire time after she got home. My mom wants me to take a picture of her bandaged paw. I felt so bad for her. Today she goes back to the vet to I guess have the dressing changed.
Okay, so there was a documentary made about the Taconic Parkway crash from July 2009. The Taconic is a major road in upstate New York. I used to drive by it when I was going to school though never drove on it because my SIL lived up in the area by where I went to school. It just so happened that the day this crash happened, I was driving back with three friends from school from a trip where we had surprised our friend Heather in Massachusetts/New Hampshire....and the original Mapquest directions I had printed out told us to take the Taconic Parkway home. Thankfully, we had my friend Shannon's Mom's GPS and it did not take us that route. But we were right by it around the time the crash happened. In the crash, 8 people died - 3 men in a SUV, one mother from Long Island with her 2 yr old daughter and her three nieces. It was so sad. The title of the documentary (which was on HBO last night) was "There's Something Wrong with Aunt Diane." I recorded it because I was at work and did not realize it was on the HBO Latino channel....so there's subtitles in Spanish, ha ha. Gives me the opportunity to practice reading them! Overall, it's such a tragedy but I am thankful the GPS rerouted us that day!
I am going to be so thankful come tomorrow night. I usually only work Mon,Wed,Fri,Sat or Sun in my availability for the summer. I dont work every Wednesday (have only because of fundraisers or someone switched with me). So this week I was suppose to work Mon, Wed, Fri & Sat night. And Saturday by myself (which usually there are two hosts and they sent me home last Sat when I was "on call" because they did not think it was going to get busy and it did so I hope that doesn't happen Sat!). But one of the girls needs coverage today from 12-3 for her shift because she's going to a Lil Wayne concert. That makes 6 days in a row at work. Last Fri, Last Sat, Last Sun, last night, today, and tomorrow. Thursday off and then Fri & Sat. I don't technically mind but I cannot wait to sleep. I think I'll browse the mall a little today after work (need to go into Victoria's Secret to pay my bill as opposed to paying it online and adding $10 to it for the same day fee). And hey, another day at work means more play money for Disney. Holy bonkers, I leave two weeks from today! YAY! And thank the LORD we switched our flight from 6am to 1045am. What on EARTH was my brother thinking when he made that flight time? This chick does NOT function well in the am.
And also, I am a firm believer in good things will come to those who wait. I know my Prince Charming is out there somewhere...he's just lost and is too stubborn to ask for/find directions. And I am happy with my current boyfriend. But seriously, how many people my age are also getting married?! No joke! Seriously! Good for them...even though I may be a teeny jealous. But it makes me think back to high school/younger when I thought I'd at least be engaged by this age. Yep, I am only 24 yrs old so I don't need to rush things like this in life. But it would be nice to ya know, get married before I am 52348523 years old...HAHA!

Chillin out, maxin, relaxing all cool
Chillin out, maxin, relaxing all cool
Shootin some b-ball outside of school
Okay, I am nooooo Will Smith a la Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (anyone else remember this?!). But that is like the title of my life right now. Or Bruno Mars' Lazy Song. Because I don't feel like doing anything, haha! No joke, my schedule this summer is pretty easy. Considering I worked 45+ hours a week last summer, no I'm sorry, for a YEAR straight after going to college at my old job, I find this summer a rare treat! I don't know what to do with myself at times. One of these days I'm gonna be productive and clean my closet. My problem is I put a movie on in the background for background noise....and then get distracted! Ha. But for realz, my room needs to be cleaned like yesterday. Time to haul butt!
Today I drove out to the location where I am taking one of my last New York state certification tests for my teaching license. I say one of my last because for the Special Education extension, I have to take the CST in that too. I am taking my Spanish one on Saturday and I'm nervous...yet haven't studied. I REALLY need to go over my grammar like all the super hard tenses like um starting as in last year because that'll probably mess me up. Umm, yes. Super nervous. Say some prayers for me from NOW until next Saturday...the 16th!
Afterwards, I was feeling a little overwhelmed with thinking of the future and thanks to my mom's lovely GPS getting me lost on the way to the mall over there to get a friend's birthday gift, I needed a little reward. I only bought form the Vera Bradley store. I got my friend a wallet she's been lusting after since May and then a tote for myself and the student agenda in one of their new patterns, Plum Petals. Look how cute it is, I can't wait to use it! Although they are jacking up the prices of their stuff ($48 for a LAUNDRY BAG..are you for realz?!!!), I will still love it. So light-weight for the summer. Need to switch into something soon. Okay, here we go:

And purely because I am insane, I made something special for my friend Olivia for her birthday. She is probably the biggest fan of Glee out of anyone I know. And she loves the guy Darren Criss who plays Blaine. So I made a joke once they should be married. Well,I made it happen in a picture that I am going to frame for her birthday! She'll love it!!! Thanks to faceinthehole.com for helping me do it:

all the small things
No, I'm not going to go into a Blink 182 song post. The lyrics/title of their song just seemed appropriate for this blog post title. Otherwise I would've just written "random crap." I am thinking about a bunch of miscellaneous things right now.
1. It is probably bad I have no desire to study for my CST (Content Speciality Test) although I need to. My mother keeps annoying me about my certification and she just doesn't seem to listen or understand that NYS only issues certification in September and February. Most jobs want you to be fully certified when you apply...granted I'm sure if you were in the process of getting it, it would not be that big of a deal but still. And not to be pessimistic, but I dont think I'll pass my CST the first time around. Some people do (and maybe I will) and some people don't. We'll just have to see.
2. We got our shirts in at work. For two weeks, starting next Wednesday, we are wearing these t-shirts that advertise the new menu items. They have some cheesy sayings on the back. The two I got were "Have you ever been hit in the mouth (or maybe it was face) with a shrimp" (for Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer...I'm happy I got this!) and "Meet pepperoni's evil twin" for our new pizza. Yay for being able to wear these for two weeks as opposed to our black button down dress shirts.
3. I won a Vera Bradley Deco Daisy backpack on ebay. I got it for about $20 or $30 cheaper than they retail for, including the shipping. It's red and black so it'll match my luggage when I go away. I was planning on using a hipster while in Disney (did the last two times) but wanted to use something else instead. My mother is going to laugh at me for the amount of Vera I bring on this trip. OH WELL.
4. I really want to go on a cruise somewhere. I have brought this up to my friends from college. Five of us (Zach, Amanda, Shannon, Olivia and I) all went to Disney for a week in January and it was fun! The summer we graduated (well everyone but Amanda because she is a year younger than us and Zach because he is older than us) in 2009, we traveled to New Hampshire to surprise our friend Heather. We know we can travel together. And my friends all agree a cruise will be fun. Who has tips on cruises? We want to go some place tropical! I figure by looking into this now, we can start planning and saving.
5. I think I need to go find a new place to have my car looked at. I had it inspected yesterday and it needed new wiper blades to pass. Then they tell me it needs new struts. I asked John (my man) what that is and it has something to do with the tires or whatever. They said the front will be about $1000 and the back about $9000! holy cow! just rob me blind, why don't ya?! John said I'm getting ripped off so maybe I will need a new estimate.
6. Also, my phone broke. Well, I'm convinced it did. I have a Blackberry and love it. (See below this) It was working completely fine...until about 5pm today when it won't let me use the track ball/pad. I tried resetting it, taking the battery out, turning it off, etc. Nothing. I'll be mad if I have to pay to replace it but oh well. Especially because there are some pictures on there that well need to be deleted and ones I dont wanna lose! Guess I'm hitting the Verizon store tomorrow to get this lovely toy replaced/fixed/whatever:

#7. It might be a good idea on my part to actually write a cover letter for teaching jobs. I realize I will probably have to change it each time depending upon school district I apply to. My resume is done at least. Maybe the reason I am procrastinating on this (like everything else in life) is because I'm scared to be growing up. There. I admitted it.
I'm going to go find some new music to update my life with now.

And the point would be...?
I don't mind taking summer classes. At a condensed version of a fall or spring class, usually there is less word. Usually being the key word. My summer class last summer was pretty easy. I mean, I thought I bombed the final because of the way she worded questions but score, I got an A- in the class! I'll take that.
I'm taking two classes and I am done on Thursday. Only one final in both. Thank goodness. So, can someone now tell me the point of why I have to do a thematic unit for 5 different subject areas when I will only be teaching Spanish? Since, hey, that's what I'll be certified in? I get that it is since I'm taking Special Education courses but seriously, is this necessary? I'm wasting a perfectly good Sunday before having to be at work at 5 where I could be at the beach? At least I already have the ELA one done and the Spanish one done (totally using one of the lessons I did for student teaching!). I'm in the middle of Health right now and will do two more soon. I think I deserve a steamy hot shower after I finish my health write-up to wake me up.
Yeah...pretty much just had to complain about it. Don't like it? Oh well.
Yesterday was slow at work. And when I say slow, I think at one point four or five tables came into the restaurant in the span of an hour. Usually it's double/triple it on a Saturday. Very weird. My coworker/friend Danielle and I ordered food (what we usually do on Monday nights) and stuffed our faces. LOVE it.
After work, I went back to Victoria Secret for the semi-annual sale. How can they sell bathing suits with only the bottom?! Or the top?! No joke. I found the bottom of one I really liked but there was no top. That's just absurd. And actually everything in the sale did not enthuse me. I ended up with more underwear. I'm sure at this point my underwear goes past 100. And yes..all from Victoria's Secret. I probably should get rid of some. Oh well.
And, I bought the perfume by this lovely lady from Sephora (mind you, the first time I've bought anything from that store). After the reviews of it smelling beachy and nice (and oh, the fact that she's my idol and I'd die to have her legs/body), I had to have it. Can't wait to wear it today!

Disaster Zone..
I'm usually a pretty organized person. I mean, when I applied to colleges, each college had a separate manilla folder with all the requirements for each school (SAT or ACT, Average GPA, deposit amount, deadline, essay or no, etc) on a post-it note on the inside. I live by Post-It notes so it worked wonders. The folders made the whole process of applying that much less aggravating.
Well, enter in student teaching. My life/organization got thrown for a loop and no joke, I ended almost a MONTH ago....and there are STILL clothes I have not put away. Why is changing your wardrobe from winter to summer (and even summer to fall, etc) such a DAUNTING task? I feel like it takes forever. Maybe it is because I get easily distracted....thanks Facebook & blogger, haha! I took all my sweaters from the closet where they were hanging (why I hang my sweaters i don't know) and threw them in a pile on the floor. No joke, I am so tired (explanation coming) and have to leave for work in an hour. It won't get finished by then. Whatever, Tuesday or something it'll have to be done. At least my two hampers of CLEAN clothes were all put away. :-D
Today I had to get up at 6am for work. The LAST time I got up anywhere remotely that early (usually it was between 5 & 5:30) was student teaching! We had a mandatory work meeting at 7am for the new menu rollout. I work at California Pizza Kitchen so in order for us to all meet, they made it that early. Oh, mind you I am NOT a morning person. We are taking a bunch of things off the menu and they're adding some new stuff to it. So, we got to taste it. Yes, we ate fried mac n cheese, bang bang shrimp (who doesn't love that name?!), habanero pizza at like 8am....waaaaaaayyyyyy too early for that. At least we got paid for the 2 hrs we were there! And since they want to advertise the new items and such for two weeks once it starts, we all get t-shirts to wear that advertise a new menu item. I think half the staff wants their's to be the bang bang shrimp one, haha. I know I do! At least I did not have to work after it. I do have to be there at 5 and I want to straighten my hair beforehand.
I saw The Hangover Part II on Friday and it was pretty funny. I swear the guy that plays Alan had probably the funniest lines in the movie! I had heard mixed reviews about it and people were basically saying it was just like the first one, just moved to a different city. And it was, but still a good laugh.
I have a unit plan due next Monday for one of my summer classes and I majorly need to work on it this week. Thankfully I dont have to work til five the day before it's due so I feel if I can get my massive closet organization done...or the majority of it done....then I'll be good.
Well, time to go move some of the disaster zone of clothes strewn across my room and get ready for work. Ciao!

Random Thoughts
If any of my friends were asked if I was a pretty random person, they'd answer "YES!" in a heartbeat. I say it like it is. Sometimes...a little too bluntly. Case in point...one of my co-workers Sarah {hilarious girl who trained me} told me that once when I was seating a table {I'm a host in a restaurant} a guy was trying to fix the blinds because the sun was shining in and he was standing on the booth. Apparently, very bluntly, I was like "Sir, please get down. I'll do it for you. We don't want you falling on your head or anything." She cracked up and basically tells me I say things like it is. Truth.
And...I normally don't think before I speak. Not ideal say in a job interview {hello awkward moment!}. I kind of let my mind do the thinking....afterwards.
So lately, lots of random thoughts are running through my head.
1. I probably should apply for my FAFSA {financial aid} for loans for the fall because yeah, where am I going to come up with $5,000+ for my two classes. {That's what sucks about going from a state school to a private school.} And probably should figure out how I'm paying for my two summer classes since they sent me my bill..again. I'm surprised they're up on their game this time...when I applied almost two years ago, they "claimed" to have never received my financial aid. They were just lazy and didn't pull it off the computer.
2. School supplies. I love. buying. them. SO RANDOM. I literally have enough pens I could not have to buy anymore until say 2019. But I just love when they put all the back-to-school stuff out. I love buying new school supplies...I even took my niece school supply shopping when she started kindergarten last year!
3. My Kindle. I bought it for myself as a birthday present back in November. I LOVE IT. Don't love it originally broke after having it for 9 days {thankfully Amazon has AWESOME customer service and sent me a new one!} but wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. I need suggestions as to books to add to it. I've got a $50 gift card burning a whole in my pocket from my brother Eric for Christmas.
4. Reality TV. I realize almost all the shows I watch now are reality tv. HAHA. Well, who does not love watching those coupon-savvy people on "Extreme Couponing"?! And I LOVE the Real Housewives of New Jersey. Seriously. I think I like this cast better without having Danielle on it {she was such trash.}
5. I.do.not.need.more.clothes. I mean, I have two hampers worth {clean, mind you!} that I need to put away. Instead, I'm watching tv {hello MTV's 16&Pregnant} and not doing it. ONE...I repeat, ONE of these days...soon...I'll get it all clean. The pile of sweaters sitting on the floor in front of my closet make me sweat bullets even thinking about it.
6. I am NOT excited about getting up at 6am on a Sunday. I have to be at work at 7am for a rollout meeting...that's mandatory. Aka, Kristin will be staggering into work in PJ's (thank GOD I am not working til 5) and a massive cup of coffee. I remember the days when I thought coffee was disgusting....that was three years ago and I needed it the summer I came home from Spain.
7. I want to know how to add pages to the top of my blog. Like an about me page, a bucket list page, etc. Who knows how to do this and can help me out?
8. I miss Spain. I want to go back. I lived in Sevilla, in the southern part. It would be like 105 degrees in May there. I mean, look how gorgeous it is.
