{motivation}

I really need some motivation. Like for real. Did I do anything productive today? Unless you count shopping with my lovely mother at Costco and taking a two hour nap....then no. Oh how I miss those days from college...which was pretty much every day of my four years at New Paltz. =)

i really want to start working out again. I did zumba classes a few times over the summer and it was great...despite the early morning wake ups followed by sitting in class for three hours. It just gave me more energy! I did work out at my uncle's gym when I was taking a class at a college near his gym four years ago (wow!). If it wasn't a 40 minute drive (20 mins there/20 back without traffic), I would totally go for it considering I would get a free membership.

And last year I had been at the gym that's 5 minutes from my house but after I hurt my back at work, I eventually stopped going. My brother went to that gym. Then, some time ago, they opened an "LA Fitness" near us (maybe like 5-10 mins from the gym that was 5 minutes from my house). Brian (my brother...well one of them) goes there now and even has a personal trainer. I just need motivation. I went to their website and right now there's a $0 initiation fee and $9.95 per week. So I just went to the website to play around with the one my brother goes to and its $25.90 for two weeks (essentially $12.95 a week). So roughly $50 a month. Is it worth $50 a month? The winter is coming and I do not like running outside. Actually, I cannot run outside because I feel (get ready for a lame excuse) ....I look stupid. HA! I was NOT a track star in school among any means so I'm not one of those hard core runners. I actually always felt better after working out at the gym. I would eventually like to run in a half marathon or something in a few years (maybe this can be my goal once I turn 25 in a few weeks to accomplish in a few years) but I do need to start at someplace. I read Christine's blog These Happy Miles, which I stumbled upon a few months back. She's running in the Chicago Marathon next weekend (you go girl!) and her posts make me want to put on some shoes and get my butt in gear.

So how can I get myself motivated?! (I would eventually like to drop back down to the size 8 jeans I once wore a few years ago....if that is AT ALL possible). Of course, I look at pictures on Pinterest (aka let's make Kristin procrastinate more in life!):

I would loveeeeeeee to have a stomach like this!

O.M.G...SHOES!

Who remembers this fabulous video of Kelly with the "Shoes" song? Totally brings me back to my sophomore year of college when that is all we said to each other. My friend Olivia even went as her for Halloween that year!
HAHA! I love it!

Well, needless to say....I HATE SHOPPING FOR SHOES!! I find it to be the worst part of shopping. I prefer simplicity when it comes to shoes. You know how some girls gravitate towards the shoe department? My mind gravitates towards the purses or anything else. I am on a MISSION to find shoes for a dress I am wearing to my friend Ashley's wedding in November. She is getting married the day after Thanksgiving and I know what dress I am going to wear:

It is from White House Black Market and I got it last summer to wear to a gala in the Hamptons. It was expensive so of course I want to get as much use out of it as possible!! I think I want to wear red shoes because I always wear the BORING standard black. I thought red might make the color pop more. Problem? I don't really like high heels....not if I wanna be dancing my booty off for the night.

So today, I started browsing Macy's website. There are so many options. I hope it does not take me forever and a day to find a pair. I hate shoe shopping so much I've already told my friends they might end up seeing me wear white flipflops under my wedding dress when I get married. HAHA!

So tell me: where are your favorite places to shop for shoes? At a reasonable price?!

{WILW}

HAPPY WEDNESDAY, Y'ALL!!

Link up with Jamie today to show what you're loving!

I'm loving that today is Wednesday and I do not have my tutoring session or 3 hour class tomorrow night thanks to the Jewish holidays! YAY for a night off before working all day Friday.

I'm loving this color of nail polish by Essie. It's called "Bahama Mama" and it is a deep plum color. It looks great on my nails.

I'm loving that three weeks from tomorrow I will be reunited with my best friend Steph! I cannot wait to surprise her with our friend Allison at the airport and the signs we plan on making welcoming her home. ha ha. And I'm excited to go back to New Paltz (our old stomping ground!) for a visit.

I'm loving that my boyfriend and I will be attending my friend Ashley's wedding the day after Thanksgiving. I LOVE weddings and I can't wait! :)

I'm loving that I have Saturday night off and Sunday off from work! I only have to work tonight, all day Fri and saturday morning. Not too bad!

I'm loving these tops from Old Navy (I have a bad desire to go shopping!!)

oh how pinteresting...

Pinterest sucks you in. Seriously. And I thought Facebook was a procrastination tool in college.....and now....yeah right! I have done nothing productive since I came home from work except look up fun/useless things on Pinterest.

Here are some of my new favorite finds:

I totally want a picture like this at my wedding. Every girl deserves a moment like this!

And for the Southern girl in me!

Totally would wear this shirt!

My motto...always!

Love this. Everyone deserves someone who makes them feel like this.

I would totally do this for a "Save the Date" announcement!

Love this cute look.

Love the green in this outfit!!

This makes me melt. I want my future husband to do this. Or I at least hope he does!

I could go on but unfortunately, I have to go tutor my student and then babysit later! Don't worry...I'll be back with a pinterest dump later in the week =)

Aruba, Jamica, oh i wanna take ya

Bermuda, Bahama, come on pretty mama
Key Largo, Montego
baby why don't we go?

Oh Beach Boys. Their song "Kokomo" really makes me want to take a vacation. Like bad. My boyfriend says he is taking me on a cruise as part of my birthday & Christmas present(s) but we shall see. I keep telling him to NOT go back on his word because he has tortured me with this. But I seriously .LOVE. to travel! I loved jet-setting across Europe while I studied abroad. I would have traveled more if I had more money.

I definitely want to go on a trip next year. With one best friend. With more than one in a huge group...whatever! So I started playing on cheapcaribbean.com and holy crap, I would TOTALLY pay $760 for an all inclusive stay in Punta Cana, the Dominincan Republic. Or I could pay $761 to go to St. Thomas. Or $592 for St.Lucia! Or even $702 to go to Cabo San Lucas. Man, the options are just endless!!! So, now the big plan is to save money...and determine who wants to go with me.

The Yankee v. Red Sox game yesterday was AWESOME! It was a double header because Friday's game got rained out. We had tickets to the 1:05 game and it was pretty great. There was a tribute to Mariano Rivera for his 602 saves making him the all-time saver in baseball history (I think). It was sweet. And I was super happy because Derek Jeter played! I wish Swisher played but he was playing in the 2nd game. They killed the Red Sox 6-2 in the first game but they lost in the second game...which had 14 innings! I can't wait to upload the pictures.

Thursday.

This is one of my favorite linkups! It is time for Seriously?! Thursday with Becky @ From Mrs To Mama.

1. It really isn't that hard to put laundry away but I have a stack sitting on my desk chair. Really? I would much rather nap or watch Gilmore Girls (almost to season 6!) than put laundry away. What is my problem? Seriously?!

2. Is $30 really too much to spend on a round-trip train ticket and a subway card for a day to the city? None of my friends want to drive to the Yankee/Red Sox game we're going to on Sunday, me included, because driving in NYC is like sitting in h*ll and who wants to pay $20 to park a car? So we're taking a train and the subway and it'll cost $30 roundtrip. Really my boyfriend doesn't need to complain about it since *I* bought his ticket. Ha, boys will be boys and be silly. SERIOUSLY?!

3. I loved being asked if I want to work for someone 15 minutes before the shift starts. No thank you! I don't mind covering if I don't have anything to do but I ain't canceling plans to go work. SERIOUSLY?! Just work it.

4. I am OH-SO glad my school doesn't know the right stuff to tell the students. I have no idea what to expect with the Special Education Content Specialty Test on Saturday so it's kind of a relief if I don't get the passing score I can retake it after I study my BUTT off for my Spanish CST in November and pass both. SERIOUSLY?! Get yo act together!

5. I made my boyfriend watch Law & Order SVU last night. First off, he has never seen it....SERIOUSLY?! WTH...such a great and addicting show (I'm watching it as I write this post). Secondly, Elliot Stabler (aka Chris Meloni) was not on it. I thought this season was going to be his LAST and he wouldn't be in as many episodes. SO SO SO SO NOT FAIR! I have no one to drool over (except Derek on Grey's). SERIOUSLY?!

6. I should have never joined Pinterest. I like to waste my life away on it. SERIOUSLY?!

7. I forgot that I wanted to watch Glee's premiere the other day and forgot to DVR it. Now FOX won't let you watch it until 8 days or something AFTER it has aired. SERIOUSLY?! I missed the original bandwagon on this show so I wanna jump on now. Way to rain on my parade.

{What I'm Loving!}

Today is Wednesday, one of my favorite days of the week! Partly because it is almost the weekend and especially today since I don't have to work. =) And of course, the What I'm Loving Wednesday linkup with Jamie @ This Kind of Love.

I'm loving that yesterday the 20th was one month until my best friend Stephanie comes to visit! I haven't seen her since April (before that it was TWO years) so this is exciting. I miss her a lot.

I'm loving that while it is fall (which is not one of my favorite seasons), it's time for the SEASON PREMIERES of my favorite shows! Let's see...I'm DVRing the season premiere of Law & Order SVU (love me some Elliot Stabler!) tonight along with Dance Moms (addicted) and tomorrow Grey's Anatomy is TWO hours. I love me some DerMer!

I'm loving that I found out a HUGE amount of pressure to have both my Spanish CST test completed and my Special Education CST completed before February 2012 is off my shoulders! Apparently my school was wrong but I can take my time getting it. I am taking one test this Saturday so after that (I'm kinda going in blind for it), I can focus on my Spanish CST.

I'm loving the hangouts I have been having with some of my co-workers lately. Just meeting up for some drinks & playing pool on a Monday night (or Sunday night that got caught short when a manager fell off a ladder) is fun. I really love this job more than my previous one...should have left that one a LONG time ago!

I'm loving that my birthday is in a few months...hopefully my boyfriend will come through on his promise of the tropical cruise he said he will be taking me on. And I just *may* buy these Uggs as an early birthday present:

I'm loving the song "Without You" by David Guetta & Usher. It is my jam. I love rocking out to it in the car on my way to work. Puts me in a good mood!

What are you loving this week?!
