This past week, I was on winter break with the school I'm student teaching in. I loved it. Not getting up at 5:30am, sleeping and having somewhat of a relaxed schedule. Although,I still had my other school obligations for grad school and worked, it was nice to have a break from the daily grind.
Monday - Worked. And I'll be back at work tonight.
Tuesday - Relaxed, tutored, went into the city to see April and spend the night.
Wednesday - Went to the MET, came home, went to class, came home.
Thursday - Did a ton of errands I have been putting off for weeks. I basically changed my dentist appointment, scheduled an appointment to get my ID badge for my second student teaching placement but their machine is broke so they have to call me back, scheduled an appointment with the lung doctor as per my mother's request (now I just have to get a copy of my chest xray), went to the bank, did a little shopping. I also tutored for an hour, did lesson plans, tutored again and then went to the movies later that night. I saw "Just Go With It" with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston...it was pretty funny!
Friday - I hung out with Allison and went shopping before I had work. And then again, as usual, my friends and I went to our favorite Fri night hangout, Dave and Buster's. We'll be back again this Friday.
Saturday - I worked a double and seriously, by 7pm, I was ready to smack people. Some people that come in are just so rude it is not funny. I am really looking forward to when I finally get a Saturday off in the near future. I also got to see my friend Amanda who I haven't seen since Christmas.
Sunday - Worked and then came home and did lesson plans. I'm excited I have them all planned out for the week for the 7th graders, but no idea when he wants me to take on the 8th graders and I have to do that this week sometime because I only have a month left in this placement!
Seriously, I am dragging today. Already. It looks like it is going to be a 3 cups of coffee kind of day. Boo. Considering my plans are done for tomorrow and my PP for my lesson is done, I'm gonna seriously eat dinner and go to bed when I come home tonight. WAY too tired.
And now it is time to go hop in the shower and get ready for school. Considering tomorrow is March 1st, and I graduate May 21st (May 22nd if it rains), I am ready for school to be over! Haha.
And yesterday marked 25 years in heaven for my father. He went to heaven before I was even born, before my parents even knew they were expecting me. I've been told that I look like him and have his wits, personality, organization skills, etc. I know he would be proud of where his little girl is at now. I'm proud to know I have at least one angel in Heaven watching over me. :)

I'm on the right track baby, I was born this way
This lovely song has been stuck in my head. It is Lady Gaga's latest single, called "Born This Way" off her next album. It DEFINITELY sounds like a Madonna song. But I can't help like it because it is catchy. And I'm always looking for song suggestions for my iTouch! :)
Ever have one of those days were you wish you could sleep in til like 2pm and then start your day? I really want that to happen over break but no such luck. However, sleeping til 9am or 10am is a dream compared to 5:30am! But today I was up early and just did a LOT of necessary tasks. I cleaned the kitchen for my mother, loaded/started the dishwasher, changed my dentist appt, called to get an appt for my ID badge for my second student teaching placement, set up an appt with the pulmonologist, went to the outlets, went to the bank, and handed in my education honor society application. Whew! Glad I did all that!
Sometimes, you need to treat yourself. And considering all I feel like I ever do is work and go to school, I decided I needed to reward myself. So, how did I do this? The Coach Outlet. I had a 30% off coupon in my email that had been tempting me. I went and everything I ended up getting was already 50% off PLUS I got an additional 30% off. Example: I got a wallet with a checkbook cover in it, originally $228 (I know, their prices are outrageous but I never pay full price), marked down to $160. It was 50% off that so it came to $80 then the 30% off, it was $54!!!! You cant beat that. So I got a bag that matches that wallet and then a small hunter green wallet (I like to change my wallets every so often...I get BORED easily) and a wristlet. My grand total? $200! That is a miracle! I dont normally go that crazy but I hadn't gone there since July and I was quite happy. Plus considering how I'm not happy with working a double again I needed to entice myself with something. Picture will follow soon!
I have one complaint. I do not like lesson plans. I know it is difficult when you're a newbie and starting out because you're essentially "creating" everything you'll use for the future. But, it is tedious and I feel like I NEVER have any good ideas. I need to email my old Spanish teacher from middle school, Mrs.Reith, who I wish I could have done my student teaching with this semester. Maybe she'll have some ideas. I'm also gonna talk with my cooperating teacher on Monday as to what I could do for my observation #2 on Wednesday but seriously, I dont like them. I lack creativity. Heck if I had to do it for ALL the subjects in elementary school, I'd be dead!

Wednesday Loving!
Okay, even though it's now Thursday, my post was being difficult before and telling me it had HTML errors. Boo. So I'm attempting it again.
Time to link up with Jamie for What I Love Wednesday!
#1
I'm loving that I have had this week off from the school I am student teaching in. We get a week off for February break! It's nice to not have to get up at 5:30/6am every day but I know next week will be brutal.
#2
I'm loving I got to spend a night in the city with my best friend, April! We went to dinner at a cute place called Mama Mexico, had sangria, caught up on our lives, etc. Ate delicious red velvet cupcakes from the bakery Crumbs. Shopped in Times Square. I miss her. We've been best friends since 7th grade and since August, we've seen each other sporadically with grad school. But I'm loving her success at Columbia!
#3
I'm loving that on Friday I get to see my lovely friends Shannon and Olivia again! I've mentioned them before...we met when we started college at New Paltz. That was almost SIX YEARS AGO! When did we get so old? But every Friday we've been getting together at Dave & Buster's (which I affectionately call it the adult Chuckee Cheese's) for drinks and catching up. This Friday is Shannon's sister, Kelly's, birthday and we're celebrating it. It's great having two best friends in a 5 minute drive one way and a 15 minute drive the other. Love them.
Shannon & I being ridiculous one of our last nights in college
Olivia & I, New Hampshire 2009

I'm loving how soon it'll be spring! And then summer!
Because who doesn't wanna wear these:
And be here?
And drink some of these?
#5
I'm loving I have a little extra money I can go shopping with. First paying off my bills and then going shopping but I deserve a reward! Who doesn't love cute outfits?!
What are you loving? Be sure to link up!

This is just not funny..
Snow. AGAIN. I'm not kidding. It was suppose to be a wintery mix and then it ended up being like 5"inches or something. I mean, that's NOTHING compared to the two feet of snow that we had for like 2 weeks in a row for awhile. It all just melted and I had seen grass for the first time since CHRISTMAS! Don't get me wrong....snow is all nice and fun as a teacher because of snow days. But this winter is making me hate being in New York with all the snow! I just want to be someplace warm and tropical.
It was nice to wake up and see my brother Brian cleared off my car for me. In the past, I've shoveled out everyone's cars and my own or they've just shoveled out their's and not mine. Again, it wasn't that much but it was nice to not have to go clear it off before I make a Target run & Old Navy run in a bit for new work pants.
You know what is annoying? When you know you have off for a week, you tell your family to not be loud because it's the first time you can finally sleep in and they do it anyways! I was up at 3:30am because I was dying of thirst. Then again at 7something with my mom talking and finally around 9:30, I just gave up sleeping and played on my laptop in my bed. Tomorrow, however, will be a different story! Nothing to do until 3pm when I have to tutor = sleeping, showering, packing for my overnighter to see April!
BTW, can someone send the cleaning fairies to me? My closet needs MAJOR cleaning/reorganization pronto.

its vacation time, baby!
I am on vacation ALL this week from student teaching and I'm SUPER excited. Not only do I NOT have to get up at 5:30am, I get to sleep in!! I still have my one hour tutoring sessions Tues & Thurs for my grad school (I tutor and get paid for it!) and my stupid class on Wednesday evening. But FINALLY some time for myself!
On Friday, the school where I am doing my first student teaching placement had diversity day. It was put on by our department, LOTE (commonly known as Languages Other Than English). The teachers asked parents of students from different countries to speak. One of the parents from my cooperating teacher's first period class spoke. She was from Bogota, Colombia and I really enjoyed her presentation. I do want to travel to South America one of these days in my future life and explore. Other cultures fascinate me.
In addition to the parents, they had one special person come. He is the brother of Marcelo Lucero, an Ecuadorian immigrant who was fatally stabbed by 7 local high school seniors about two years ago. It happened in a town about 10-15 minutes from me. Apparently it was a common activity for these kids to go on a hunt to bother Hispanics. One boy stabbed Marcelo and he died. His brother spoke to the kids and I got to talk with him during lunch in the LOTE office and when I had to walk him down to the auditorium for his presentation 5th period. It is such a tragedy what happened to his brother and hopefully it opened the eyes of these students (who are all diverse ethnically and physically in the school I am at). No one should ever have to go through what this man did. It tug on my heartstrings. Here was a man who simply came to this country, wanting to achieve the American Dream so many of us are "rightfully" born with. And in the end, his life was tragically taken from him. All of the boys are in prison and you know what? They deserve to be there. And the main boy who was charged was represented by an attorney that always used to come into my old job in the Hamptons. Just a little side fact/note. However, here is to hoping one day that diversity will run free and everyone will be accepting. We're all humans, we all deserve that American dream, regardless of ethnicity.
And as usual, I worked this weekend. Gee, WHAT A SHOCK. I was sooooooo excited to NOT have to work next Saturday night for I don't know, the first Saturday night in 6 weeks! I had been doing doubles every Saturday since I came back from Disney. Don't get me wrong, I love the $$, but seriously, enough's enough. Lol. And then what happens? The new person, who I haven't even met, apparently can't work the Saturday night shift she is scheduled for because of her other job....well, don't work two jobs! Lol. I REALLY REALLY didn't want to work it but I did. The only bright side is I won't have to stay til 10 since I'll be there since 11:30 that morning. Thank the lord.
I really wish my room would clean itself. My closet is like bursting because of all the clothes I've just thrown in there. I hate winter clothes. They are too bulky to hang unlike summer clothes and therefore take up more space. Or, maybe my problem is I have too many clothes. Too many clothes is never a problem in reality for a girl! :) I am going shopping this week for school clothes and a little fun because I haven't been in months! I deserve a little treat.
And in other news, my darling goddaughter lost her first tooth! She is 6 years old and has been waiting for like two years for this major event to occur. She is too cute. It's a bottom one. I took a picture of her smile, now minus one tooth, tonight when we went out to dinner for my brother's 39th birthday. I just love that munchkin. :)
Well, time to go put stuff away so I can go lay in bed. Maybe I'll tackle this mess tomorrow. Yeah, sounds good to me. :)

almost the weekend!
It is almost the WEEKEND, yay!! I am excited because A, its the end of a school week and B, vacation next week!
Today was my first observation for student teaching. My cooperating teacher left the room while I was observed by my field supervisor. To say it felt nerve-wracking doesn't describe it. The kids knew I was being observed and were so well behaved. They're my favorite class. Is that bad I have a favorite? :) I did a paired information gap activity where the kids had to work with partners. My supervisor said that it was very brave of me to do that for my first observation, considering I have only been teaching them for 4 days including today. But overall, he loved it. He said I have excellent classroom management skills which can be difficult to develop. But I have to be more animated/less stiff in the front of the class. Its something I know I have to work on and that I'll develop on my own as a teacher and have my own style. I am glad it is over though! I pretty much did nothing the rest of the day because as my cooperating teacher said something along the lines of "Your brain is shot, you were observed today...relax!" And that is what I did.
I went home to tutor for the class I took last semester. These students have some sort of LD and need help. I read to a kid and its nice. Then someone's tutor didn't show up so my professor had me sit there while the kid took the test. Then I was suppose to go drop it off in the school of Education but they told me another building, who sent me to the school of Education. But then the secretary told me she couldn't help me because she didn't know of any professors in there by that name...WTH?!
I need to go to a different Old Navy. I need another pair of light-weight black pants for work and they usually have them. Only they are either not selling them now or only have the crops/capris at the one by my house. Annoying to say the least but I'll travel to another one next week on my day off.
I am in the process of planning my flight to see my best friend Stephanie. The last time I saw her was May 2009 when she came to visit me and the rest of our friends were we went to school (she graduated a semester early). Her birthday is April 24th (Easter Sunday) and I'm on my spring break from student teaching the week before. I'm going April 20th-April 24th. Cannot WAIT to see her! It's hard to believe we haven't seen each other in two years but that's what her having a 9-5 job and me in school does. Nothing/no one like my Stephycakes.
Student teaching is whipping me out. I fell asleep last night as I was writing this entry. It's now 7:02am Friday morning and I need to go get dressed for school. Assemblies all day for diversity day!

WILW :)
It's that time again for WILW with Jamie!
So what am I loving this week?
#1 - I'm loving that my first observation for student teaching is tomorrow. Okay, well not really 100% super excited because my students are probably going to throw pencils at me if I make them learn how to tell time anymore in Spanish. But I'm excited to see what feedback this supervisor gives me compared to last semester. And I really just want the first one to be OVER. I remember feeling the same way last semester and it was only my part-time. This is FULL TIME TEACHING! EEK! I'm loving how well-behaved the kids are so they are the perfect class for me to get observed in.
#2 - I'm loving that as of Friday at 2:30pm, there isn't school again until Feb 28th!! We have winter break next week. Aside from the fact that I'll be working at night and have class, I dont have to get up at 5:30 in the morning!!
#3- I'm loving I will be getting to spend a night in NYC with my BFF April @ her apartment. She is in the Master's Program @ Columbia for journalism. We both graduate in May so I'm gonna come in for a night. And hopefully again soon.
#4 - Teaching. It's what I'm loving that made me discover it is my calling in life. Example why: Today was I walked into the main office to sign the book for student teachers that I was there, one of my students was at her locker right outside the main office. She sees me and promptly yells "Hi Miss J!!!" as she waves her hand. When I collected the HW in class I assigned the night before, she told me that "Angus ate it." So I asked who Angus was and she said "My dog. My dog ate my homework." I nearly died laughing. She told me she would give it to me tomorrow after he threw it up (this was after I told the kids they could give it to me tomorrow if they wanted credit). It was that part that made me realize I can be a teacher...even if I'm running on a lack of sleep and want to cough up my lungs every .25 seconds because I'm with germy middle schoolers!
#5 -
These people. My friends. They're always there when I need a hug, to vent, a laugh or a good time out! <3

Not enough hours!
To me, there are simply not enough hours in a day to accomplish everything I need to do and everything I want to do. I knew student teaching was going to be a lot of work and even though it is only two weeks in, I'm just starting to plan now because I was observing for the first two weeks. Nothing is more refreshing than having no clue what you're doing, haha. i'm trying to think how I can make tomorrow's lesson fun (while still incorporating workbook pages)...and I'm at a loss...hence why I am up before 9AM on a Sunday when I don't have to be at work til 1. And I'm procrastinating. I'm the master procrasinator. Give me a prize, please. I know it will all work out. I have faith.
But, is it sad that part of me can't wait til it is Friday? I know it's pathetic but Friday is diversity day at school, so it will be presentations/no "teaching". It's also the last day before February break! :) That means the week after (President's week), I can sleep in as late as I want, even though I still have work at night, tutoring two nights, and class one night. But hey, I'll take it over getting up at 5:30/6 every morning.
This weekend is making me almost wish I didnt work as much. I need the $$ but seriously, worked Friday 5:30-10, all day yesterday and 1-9 today. They have two hosts because it is Valentine's Day weekend. Hopefully we made good $$ last night in tips. The servers were saying their sales were outta control. I work tomorrow night on actual Valentine's Day so let's hope it is busier than the normal Monday night.
Friday before work, I went shopping for more clothes for student teaching. It is ridiculous how long it takes me to find a pair of pants that will fit! I did find one in gray from Ann Taylor Loft (used my student discount!) but they need a little hemming...so just another thing I have to do on my vacation. I also found a cute peach colored shirt with little ruffles around the neckline. At NY&Co, all their shirts were buy one, get one 50% off. Plus, I had a promo code in my email spend $100 or more, get $50 off. So I ended up with 4 shirts, a necklace and earrings for like a little over $100 after the coupon! I was happy.
I have been wanting to re-dye my hair for months now and my mom finally did it for me when I came home from work last night. Here's a pic of it. Sorry for the silly face, it was late when I took it and thats how I felt after dealing with weirdos all day long at work! Kinda hard to tell the color because I used my webcam on my MacBook Pro but its a chocolate caramel color :)
time to go make my bed and hope it'll make me feel inspired to do my lesson!

Life as we Know it
Today, I was kind of feeling blah. But not really til, I got home. My lovely cooperating teacher lets me come in at 8:30 so the extra hour I sleep is a HUGE difference. Although, I must buy creamer soon for my coffee because regular milk in it with my Splenda (I'll admit...I put a lot in! :X) does NOT do it for me. And as soon as I got in my car this morning, I realized I needed to get gas. It was starting to go below the 1/4 of a tank line. I didn't get it until AFTER student teaching. Whoops.
School is going good. I definitely need to speak Spanish to myself in places...the shower (haha), car, my friends who are also studying to be Spanish teachers, etc. I almost feel intimidated because my cooperating teacher is a native/speaks it perfectly. Today, we reviewed more time with the 7th graders and they get a quiz tomorrow. I'm a big dork but I love grading papers. When I have my own classroom, I can't wait to put stickers on them. HAHA. I did the "Hagan Ahora" aka "Do Now" with 5th & 7th period (2 eighth grade classes) and gave them the new chapter vocabulary to look up. I had to tell them more than half of them because they don't listen or don't want to do the work. I am suppose to be observed next week on Thursday. Here's to hoping it goes well! I hope I have that "natural look/feeling" that my cooperating teacher last semester said I had! (Part of me wishes I stayed, part of me is glad I moved on.)
I am a little annoyed about my seminar class last night. It goes along with student teaching and is suppose to meet 7-9:41(why 41...it is such an odd time!). However, the professor wanted to move it up to 5 which is fine because I have my thesis class before but it is really only when you need "help" with the last two sections of the paper. So we go there and my professor from my part-time student teaching seminar from last semester is there with her undergrad student teachers. Why am I annoyed? Because this woman made class like a therapy session last semester, kept cancelling it ALL the time, and I feel like I learned nothing! Put 8 grad students, 5 or 6 undergrads and 2 professors in a room and it was LOUD. I really learned diddly squat last semester. Hopefully it won't be too bad (I'm trying to be optimistic) but I honestly don't want to spend another $3000 for a class that doesnt benefit me!
So after school and tutoring today, I went to Target. I was looking for dress pants and any nice tops they might have for school because, I love Target & their prices. I needed new mascara (mine always clumps so fast!), dry-erase spray & eraser for my white board. As always, I browse the entertainment section. When I saw this movie, I had to buy it. I saw it on a date, loved it and love the actress in it. It definitely brightened my day. What movie is it?..........
If you haven't seen it, you must!
Time to go to bed. I am wiped. This weekend will be insane with work because of a tomorrow night, double Saturday and double Sunday. My brother (who has been teaching for like 15 years) said I am crazy for working while I student teach. I literally have 5 periods of the day I could plan (first - sit in the room & do it or go to the computer lab, 3rd during APP aka study hall, 6th during lunch, 8th during common planning and 9th when my teacher is free). My job isnt that bad (4 hour shift on Monday night) and then the weekend. I do have a money in the bank but I want some extra cash. I'm a bit of a night owl and can deal with a lack of sleep. Hopefully now that they hired a new host I wont have to work doubles on Saturdays anymore. But if I get Sunday evenings, I'll be happy because I can sleep past 12. I know I should focus more on lesson plans but I just took a look at the student teaching handbook and it doesn't seem that hard. All I know is after tomorrow, there are five school days left and then Feb break!! :)

What I'm Loving Wednesday :)
It's that day again!!
I'm linking up with Jamie for WILW. :)
So, what am I loving this week?
#1. I'm loving that my cooperating teacher came back on Monday. It was nice to finally meet him, get to observe his teaching style, learn/familiarize myself with the students, etc. Theres seventh grade classes (one of which is all native speakers) and 3 8th. I can't wait to start TEACHING! Hopefully tomorrow or Friday.
#2. I mentioned my cooperating teacher has a natives class. I was told by the chairperson I'm not allowed to teach it. I'll do whatever they want me to. Because I can't teach, my cooperating teacher was like "Come in at 8:30 if you want instead of 7:30." I'm loving that! The extra hour of sleep makes ALL the difference.
#3. I'm loving that in two months I will be visiting this lovely lady for her birthday!
(Me & My BFF Stephy)
#4. I'm loving Glee.....yes, a little late on this bandwagon. But my bestie Olivia is somewhat (okay, maybe super) obsessed with it. We watched the Britney & Madonna episodes before we went to Disney, my itunes is now infused with Glee music, now I just need to start watching.
#5. I'm loving my Kindle! I'm reading a book called "The Pressures of Teaching" during lunch at student teaching. I just feel like the book doesnt compare anymore.
#6. I'm loving my vacation from school from Feb 21-25. 5 days of massive sleep! And room organization.
#7. I'm loving the surprise that a group of my friends and I are sending to our friend Heather in Indiana. She's gonna love it!
Remember to link up!!! :)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thinking of doing a giveaway! So many blogs i have come across are either doing a giveaway or someone has won one. So it has inspired me to do one. I'd love more followers (as creepy as it may be...who doesn't want more blog friends?!). So, when I reach 25 followers, I'll do a $25 giftcard to one of these places (Target, Wal-Mart, Victoria's Secret (only bc it's my fav store), Starbucks, etc) or a Visa for their choice! Spread the word, follow, and then once it happens, I'll let y'all know!!

Quick update
I havent written in almost a week and it's because I am either at school, work, doing homework/lessons or trying to sleep.
My cooperating teacher came back yesterday. He seems really nice! He has two 7th grade classes first and second period. I can't teach first period because it is a natives class. That is fine by me. Since it is all native speakers, my cooperating teacher said I can sit in on it if I want, but I can come in at 8:30 for 2nd period. Fine by me! After 2nd, he has a study hall, followed by two 8th grade classes, lunch, another 8th grade class, common planning for LOTE (Language Other Than English) and then a free period. I usually work on lessons or google ideas for them during the free periods. Lunch, I play on my crackberry.
Tomorrow I'm doing a Hagan Ahora (Do Now) for the 8th graders. Hopefully it goes well. I need to do more things in the front because soon it is going to be my class...my responsibility!!
Time to go to bed. I'm too tired to function. I'll post more tomorrow.
XoXo, Moi.

What I'm Loving Wednesday :)
I'm linking up with the lovely Jamie for WILW!
I'm loving that my cooperating teacher and I finally got to speak tonight. He's been out with back problems for two weeks tomorrow and I haven't been able to figure out what I am doing. I feel MUCH better about the situation now (although what I did just find out from my mom makes me wish something diff....I'll explain later) and I am totally looking forward to finally meeting him on Monday!
I'm loving I had a lazy day today and stayed home from student teaching due to icey roads. It was a 2 hr delay and the classes were 20 mins....not worth it!
I'm loving this little cute. My pride & joy. My goddaughter. I saw her (and her siblings) last night. I love being her godmother & aunt:
(her recital this past summer...note it was 1030pm by the time we finally got to see her after she danced).
I'm loving the idea of going back here in August with my goddaughter, her siblings, her parents and my mom:
I'm loving this dress from Ann Taylor Loft. I wish I had an excuse/place to wear it!

*Side note: My mom was shoveling ice away from our mailbox when the mother of one of my brothers friends stopped by as she was driving down the street. She's the secretary in our high school. Evidently my mom told her my predicament/problems with getting placed for student teaching and apparently, had I asked her, she would've placed me in my district!!! UGH! And it's because my stupid college tells us that my home district is one we can't "pre-place ourselves." WHY OH WHY. Just another reason I hate my college. HAHA.
Time to go find something to eat, pick out an outfit for tomorrow (I'm not good at making decisions at 6:15am when I get outta the shower) and watch SVU before hitting the hay!
bright side...
True Life: I just had a good cry after I posted that last blog post. Do I feel better? Aside from my nose running, yes. I feel like crying let some of the anger out.
And it's this lady that made me feel somewhat better:

...not happy...
so not happy right now. at all. disappointed? SEVERELY. i honestly feel like sitting here and crying because i am just frustrated. do i think it's pathetic that i want to sit here and cry over stupid things? yes. did i do it? for about 3 minutes.
i've got a fiery temper to say the least. it can either take a LOT to tick me off or very little. stupid things like taking my wet laundry out of the washing machine and throwing it in a laundry basket because there is stuff in the dryer so you can put your own load in DEFINITELY aggravates me. i have a tendency to forget about my laundry (so it is partially my fault) because depending upon the cycle you use (whites, delicates, etc), the time varies. so my brother decided to do that and needless to say, i screamed out of being pissed off and dropped the F-bomb a buncha times. necessary? no. annoyed? yes. he could've easily taken the crap in the dryer, thrown it in the empty laundry basket, put my stuff in, started it and THEN started his load. do i feel bad i yelled? yes, because i was acting like a 4 yr old and not a 24 yr old. it just annoys me because my siblings do it all the time and granted, if i go to do laundry and they've left stuff in the dryer, i at least put their stuff in to dry! ugh, i over-analyze stupid little things like this but it just annoys me.
i also think i'm pms-ing too and that tends to make me annoyed. seriously, i haven't screamed like i did tonight in probably weeks (my mom would probably beg to differ). whatever. i have a fiery temper. nothing new. i need something constructive to change it and i really wanna run...not gonna happen in the snow or gym. no time (although im sure if i killed myself and woke up at 4am, i could go run). also not happening.
bottom line? i think it stems from the issues im having with student teaching. day two today. no teacher. still out, apparently hoping to be back tomorrow (wednesday) or thursday. i get different updates from the office and the other LOTE teachers. i called his cell. no answer...maybe he isnt available? i'll email him again in the morning (because it might be weird to send it at 11:52pm and then see him possibly). i just feel super overwhelmed, like i have no idea what i'm doing. and i ask myself, "is this placement going to work out?" because i dont want to have to switch...ugh. PRETTY PLEASE, PRAY/WISH/HOPE THAT MY TEACHER COMES IN TOMORROW (unless we have a snow day) or THURSDAY (if he doesn't tomorrow). I'm ready to pull out my hair.
When it gets nice out, I'm going to go running. If I have to go join a gym [again], so help me i will.
I wish I could go have a glass of wine right now. Sadly, it's something lacking in the house. That or I don't know where the corkscrew is. Or I simply just need a smack to snap me into reality and stop flipping out over stupid things.
Might wanna get my laundry out of the dryer now before it ends up outside in the snow or something.
